Army Blue Uniform

Army Blue UniformHow do I apply a conversion kit uses my army uniform blue coat ceremony?

I am a soldier enlisted in the Army Reserve, and I want to wear a blue uniform at my wedding in October. AAFES sells only a plain variety Army dress blue uniform coat, which must then be modified with any degree of leadership and professional specialty or enlisted with epaulets and sleeve stripes. I bought this conversion kit enrolled with my coat of AAFES, but because I live very far from the nearest military installation, I chose to ask my grandmother to change the channel to me. She is able to apply the rank chevrons, braided with long sleeves, and bands of service but it is at a loss about how to install the epauelts without opening the sleeve seam at the shoulder, which he said it will be extremely difficult to accomplish. How do you correctly install the epaulets? (Yes, it is too late for me to order a jacket with epaulets factory installed.)

You'll need to wear the mantle and the conversion kit to a tailor. When I did, it took about a week and cost about 70-100 dollars. I would not let my grandmother do it, but a professional. For bands and braided sleeve of service you need to open the sleeve too.

The seams must be opened!
I'm sure a competent tailor shop in your town can sew on the shoulder properly! (It will probably cost you extra)
