There are several ways to maintain the shine and luster of this stone.

You must have found difficult spots on your marble countertop. These are really difficult to remove. What makes it so difficult is the porous nature of this stone. Marble has a tendency to soak anything that is spilled on it. So if you use acid to clean the marble, you can see the engraving on the marble surface. Any amount of zero on your marble will result in the loss of the beauty of this stone.

There are some precautions to take when working with marble. Never use vinegar or any other type of acid to clean marble floors. Marble is delicate and must be cleaned at natural pH, mild cleaners. Remember that this mild acid in vinegar can be harmful to the overall finish of your marble floor. Always use neutral PH cleaners to clean marble. Here are some points you should consider when cleaning marble.

First, you need to take care of your marble. Treat the stone as a very expensive piece of wooden furniture. Never place glasses on marble surfaces directly. Any kind of spill on the marble be dangerous. Do not leave the spill for a long period of time to clean the spill immediately.

Maintain your marble floor and tiles regularly to protect it. The best way is to use a sponge to wipe away the debris. Always wet the marble top with lukewarm water. Do not use hot water. You do not need marble surface unless cleaning hard materials present on it. Use a mild detergent to clean marble.

If you want to dry and shine the marble, use dry towel or paper towel. There are times when you feel the heavy marble. Cleaning is not enough to clean the marble. In this case, you need something more than a mild detergent to clean marble, you might consider purchasing a high quality commercial marble cleaning products. Always follow the instructions given by the manufacturer. Purchase of a marble polish to seal commercial grade marble required. Never buy harsh cleansers sold by some manufacturers.

Beer, wine, tea and citrus juice can be dangerous for the elegance of marble. Clean it with hydrogen peroxide mixed with a few drops of ammonia and rub the marble gently with a clean cloth until it retains its brilliance.

Cooking oils or any other type of greasy products can stain marble like floor. Therefore, it must be cleaned immediately with soap and water.

Make sure you clean your marble tile daily to remove dirt and keep it as a free spot.
