Clearance Jobs

Hello, I see many job postings online for information technology and others, but you have secret clearance.
1 - Does anyone know how to get top security clearance and what are the qualifications.
2nd - Does anyone even know what that means?
3rd - Can someone get a job and then I get that a resident is MA?
4th - Is there a fee and an agency where I had to go get him?

You apply for the job. If the company hires you, they will submit an authorization, which may take up to a year to obtain. It requires you to fill a large package of documents for a background investigation dating back at least ten years.

The fees are paid by businesses. The government does not grant permissions to someone just because they want one. It is based on the need for a specific reason for a need to know.

This is a classic "Catch 22". You can not do the job until you get the clearance. You can not get the clearance, without employment.


Recommend ... into a program that DOD has the potential to reach the next level. Once they see your work ethic and can give you, the process begins.

Hello ... I was in the army and NATO had a secret clearance. They checked all my experience and after my arrival. So to answer your questions in your numbers ...
1st - apply for the job and see what the employer said. I do not think you can just get a permit for any reason. It is not a desktop security controls, as there is a DMV or what you have. You must have a reason to require a permit. As I said apply for the position.
2nd - There are several levels of clearance levels. I'm not 100% sure of each level or anything, but Top Secret is not the highest, but it is certainly up there.
3rd - As I said above must have a reason (job) to obtain a permit at all. I am sure you are eligible to be a citizen of the United States, no matter what state you are in. So MA prevents you all. J / K
4th - I do not think there is an agency or a tax, and if there is a fee I think your future employer would incur that cost.

The employer would have to run the BI. Even if you had a TS / SCI in the army, that clearance is revoked when you exit.
Make your own investigation and clearance is totally ridiculous.

When I had my TS clearance, special agents went to my neighbors at every place I have ever lived in and ask them about me and my character. They also went to my school and I talked to my teachers. In addition, they will go to any former employers. They spoke to the ex - spouses and run background checks on you and your family member or a member of the family of your husband.

It takes months and is very expensive. I've never heard of anyone actually paying for a completed. Usually, you have a job or are in the army and they (the employer) pay for completing the investigation.

If you are looking for a job description and military contractor said, you must have active TS clearance, so basically, they say old soldiers should apply.
