Coveralls How to dye a combination of polyester white to yellow? I have a set of solid combinations painter white men to be dyed yellow. I thought the use RIT dye to dye, but the fiber content is 65% polyester and 35% cotton. I wonder if this will still work? (It will rise once it does not matter if it will fade over time) or if I need to use another type of dye in order for it to look good? Polyester is a man made of fabric and will not dye well. Cotton will take much better complexion and possibly cause uneven effect. Posted on April 24, 2010.
