Marine Corps Uniforms

Marine Corps UniformsCan you keep your uniforms marine corps after service is in place?

I am currently in the DEP program and was curious about the issue. too, "I was falling on an object while in a combat situation, I would be permited to take with me? Feel free to add more details

Yes, you can keep all your uniforms you receive from the army. Most people keep their uniforms and dress and get rid of the rest of them, though.

Regarding the last question, yes - theoretically you can, but it also depends on the purpose and value there, and if you can get through customs on the way back back. A normal, everyday object that you can go for yours, probably nobody will say anything, but if you try to take a priceless painting or something big, you might have some explaining to MPs and Safety airports, If you do your commanding first capture.

I think yours is stored at the goodwill, better go pick it up quickly

I know that you keep your uniform if you withdraw from the navy but I do not know if its for all those who have served any time.

Yes, you pay, it's yours.

Yep. I still have mine too. Cammie, dress blues, even the boots. But the Marines make you buy anyway.

The DOD put an end to "Remembrance" collection. Regarding the uniform, they send you home in your underwear. What do you think.

You pay for your Marine Corps uniform. They are yours and you are supposed to bring them with you after the active service because you will still be inactive in service where they can call you for another 4 years (if you do 4 years active).

Bringing the war trophies home .. many Marines did when Iraq / Afghanistan began. When I left Iraq in 2005, although they have tried every one of us .. even more than they're looking for in an airport!
I guess it depends where you are going and when you've been.

Yours to continue to provide you serve with honor for your commitment

When you are released from active duty, most Marines have a period of "inactive reserve" time to do on their commitment. You must keep your uniform during this period. Also, upon release from active duty, all uniforms issued to you to you. You can not prevent the equipment and / or weapons. If you come across an article (in fight), you are required to "tour" of this point. However, the Marines many people who come across items (other than gear Marine Corps) to fight "sneak" in them by various means. In Vietnam, I came across an enemy AK-47 (Russian made) that I quickly dismantled and transported home, room by room 1965). Anyway, it's history. Good Luck.

I served 10 years in the Marine Corps and I still have all my equipment. I mean, we never asked to return or anything. It all came outta my salary, so it's all mine, right?
In what comes across an object in the fight ... if you find a strange box or a bag, do not pick it up and take home. Just my opinion.
We all have memories of where we were, just be smart and ethical about it.

Yes, you keep your uniform. If an honorable discharge, you are still allowed to wear again. Not that many people.

There are no spoils to the U.S. Army. We could not keep something that you are getting in a fight if it were an actual value or very little.
