I'm looking for an active subwoofer for a home theater. With a budget of £ 250. Ideas? Hello everyone.
Firstly I would like to thank everyone who helped me with my question on the home theater. It was really appreciated.
I just bought the Onkyo 606 AV receiver TXSR. It must have a subwoofer. I had a look at the line, and I do not hurt but I'm not sure if they are all good. One that I found is the Mordaunt Short ALUMNI 9 Black (125watts £ 200) to richer sounds.
I'm willing to pay £ 250.00. Will that be enough to get a really good Active Sub? All ideas will be greatly appreciated as always.
Thank you ..
A budget of £ 250 will get you a very good subwoofer active. To "really good", you need to talk about 1000 pounds, but it would be exaggerated with the '606, which is a very nice amplifier A / V
Take a listen to one of the following and let your ears decide before buying:
MJ Acoustics Pro 50 MkII (£ 300)
MS-309i Mordaunt (£ 230)
Wharfedale Diamond SW-150 (£ 250)
All are 5-star rated submarines. Prices are ssp if you can find them cheaper.
Enjoy!
Correct me if my device is off ...... but I think £ 250 is about U.S. $ 500 ...... if so, I'm happy with my Klipsch SUB-12 ..... 0600 Watt Surge ...... ....... 350 Support
It seems clean when it is supposed to be calm, and when it needs to be strong it shakes my jeans around my legs.
Infinity PS10 ......... 300 watt 10 inches. its AWSOME. $ 239
