Nursing Shoes

Nursing ShoesNursing Shoes?

I go to school for phlebotomy and nursing ... need to know what a good pair of shoes nursing would be since I'm going to stay in them all day:)

Every nurse, I work with wear Birkenstock clogs, they are made of hard rubber and then the hooks are super resistant to blood.
If you have already tried a pair of Birkenstocks you can imagine how comfortable they are! LOVE THEM!

(They cost about $ 80 CAD)

Danskos are made of durable leather and has great cushioning. Crocs are soft and has excellent traction. If you want to check my store, please click: http://stores.ebay.com/Pink-Penguin-Mall_W0QQsspagenameZMEQ3aFQ3aSTQQtZkm Flag

Dansko clogs. They are expensive (about $ 120), but many of the nurses I work with them and they wear are very comfortable.

or

Asics running shoes all white, of course.

There are many choices and I could go on for hours ... but the best advice is .. Choose yourself, who are most comfortable for your feet. Get a good support for the arches and the sufficient cushioning to absorb shock .. you'll be on your feet and walk a lot hard floors which are not at all flexible, you need a good shock absorbing insole or sole. More ... they do not have shoes ... all nursing my peers and I used our favorite brand of sport shoes ... just make sure they are mostly white or white depending on the institution you work in.

Try "Nurse Mates" because they are designed specifically for nurses. They are a bit expensive, but you need something that will give you support through your foot as "Crocs" can not. You can tell they are "Nurse Mates" because they have a small blue heart on them. There are lots of different styles, widths / sizes. Try http://www.onlineshoes.com/. I propose also buy heeled closed shoes, they are easier on your feet.
