What brand of padded shorts you recommend? I took the bike. I love except the pain in gridlock. I think cycling padded shorts, what do you think. What you have tried and what you like? Thank you.
I would check IP (Pearl Izumi), and shorts Canari Cannondale. Regarding the road, IP allows impressive entry level short, short Attack. The chamois is nearly flawless, which is great because seams will rub and cause cracking. For the mountain, I found Cannondale and Fox are the best shorts money, they tend to have a chamois is very decent and very sturdy / durable.
When you look shorts, flip them and make sure the chamois (pad). The placement of the filling and the amount of it will tell you what kind of horse is short, so its more in the back for a jumper or more standing in the front for a crouch right road. Also check the sewing / seams because there are more and more it will rub. I would stay away from gel padding is a bit more expensive and not worth it, in my opinion.
Right now I'm on the road to Novara Trionfo II short shorts down Cannondale mountain.
Shoes wise, I worry about getting one that matches just right. I prefer Sidis, they feel really good on my feet, but I have friends who swear by Shimano shoes or Cannondale. Find a decent bike shop and they have a lot to the size you in. Note: Almost all cycling shoes are in European sizing ex42, 43, so if you do not sure what size you are, check your running shoes, and start there.
Get it all, man!
Pearl Izumi is usually easy to find, but it seems to be between their sizes so they do not work for me.
I am rather fond of Castelli, and lean cut suits me better Euro. I am also pleased with shorts Giordana, even if they run a larger than normal. Descent is Nice shorts, and I was tempted to try the clothes Campagnolo lately.
Remember, no clothes we wear with them. This is the shoe against your spot, my brother! While you're there, get a nice jersey to look and feel cooler on the bike, perhaps a function of your helmet?
I specialized in lycra shorts. they cost $ 60 and they are sooo comfortable. I have a carbon seat very hard, and these shorts take all the pain of riding. They stink, after a long journey in the summer but, what should I think. I buy only specialized these days I'm really impressed by their range of clothing.
I AXO Terra SPD shoes. they are on the heaviest side of shoe machines, but they have a very stiff sole, comfortable, and a construction very difficult. I do not expect these babies to fall apart for a long time (unlike my 661 experts, do not buy 661!)
automatic shoes are definitely worth the money if you do a lot of riding.
I tried several pairs and finally found one that, at least for me, is most comfortable: Assos. I tried several different IP shorts, and to be honest, I think they are all terrible. The Giordiana would be my second choice, but Assos is by far the best short film I've ever worn.
As for shoes, you can not go wrong with Sidi.
I have two pairs that I like and a pair of Assos shorts, another is Santini Pro chamois. They are very comfortable.
for shoes, I really like Shimano R-151 or R-215, they both have the carbon fiber plant. the difference is the R-215 has a lock heel.
Hey Techie,
"I use Sugoi" Technifine "lycra shorts for mountain biking and XC mountain bike baggy shorts Oakley 2.6 for freeride or cruise with children. I have a strange body type, but these shorts fit very well, are very comfortable and long lasting.
- You may also want to check your settings even get a seat or saddle different if your butt still hurts after a.
