Police Bike Uniforms

A warning perhaps? or a fine?
What I got were young, two aggressive young police saying that I had an attitude and heading off situations. I inadvertently left my helmet on a park bench and was walking to my bike. Their behavior was a disgrace to themselves and the uniforms they wore. No wonder cops are sometimes described as "pigs"

You forgot to mention whether or not you were an adult. If you are a minor, then a decree of state laws that you must wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. And it's probably a good idea. I know where I live (California), adults are not currently required to wear a helmet when cycling, it's different where you live?

permanent brain damage if you're in an accident. port laws are for your own safety. Now that you got off with a warning, you must wear a helmet from now on.
