Scrub Tech

Im wanting information on becoming Scrub Tech. I also want information on specific schools in the North Texas area that offer training for that. Is this an interesting and exciting?

If you plan to go to college, just do in nursing.

Call the Community College, North Texas State University, SMU, UTD, UTA and ask if they have any courses related to this subject.

Listen to Holly. Tech jobs are less "assistance" of jobs and not worth the effort to go to uni at all. It saddens me every time I see junior college advertising about gettting your high-tech jobs.


Heck, you can go directly to the hospital and ask to continue if they have volunteer positions. There should be a list. Then apply several hospitals. Once you get a job there, you call "tech" instead of "voluntary". It's the same thing. After a while, you have experience as a technology which is roughly the equivalent of a technical diploma in my eye.
