Short Scale Bass

I am a beginner guitar player, so I want a cheap guitar that is easy to play. If the "Ibanez Mikro Short-Scale GSRM20 Bass Guitar is not a good idea, then who is?

This was my first bass and I loved it.
It was cheap ... easy to play and sounded good.
