Saudi officials said the imams of the kingdom of shortening Friday sermons in mosques, to avoid unnecessary congestion in places of worship.

The instructions are the latest in a series of measures taken by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia to protect the health of the faithful against the H1N1 virus before the Hajj.

short sermons are better than Muslims scholars. But sermons can not be canceled just as you might think because they are part of the prayer ..

wow! I agree with the sermons short in the areas of popularity .. Because there will be seniors, youth. and disabled people who cannot just around that long .. Some of these famous old imams will drone and so on, thinking just because they are popular, they are entitled to an extra long sermon, which, as noted IVE, sermons arent anything new, its usually just the same old subjects redone a bit .. Really they need to reduce their short for such occations.

if short sermons are good for public health during the pilgrimage, would be the best sermons?
let me add: do Hajj this year would be even better???, if an element of an equation is a problem, get rid of this element. I say, get rid of the equation.
