Why mastectomy prosthesis breast forms more expensive than the silicone breast enhancers integrate? Looking more closely, they are mainly made of silicon. Why the big price difference?
I have no experience with silicone breast enhancers key - frankly, if I had not had a mastectomy silicone would never anywhere near my breasts.
But from a quick Google, they seem very basic - small pieces of silicon in the form designed to fit into the cups of a bra to look bigger breasts.
Breastforms should look, feel and move like natural breasts, they must correspond to the chest rest, as a necessity rather than a "luxury" they have to withstand the daily wear for an extended period, rather as casual wear.
So I think they use more silicon, and other, more difficult material. They require more skill and time of manufacture. They must be fitted to the individual.
Given all that, I think the difference in price is not unreasonable.
I get mine for free on the NHS well.
I suppose, being the eternal cynic is that you are more likely to feel that you "need" you have a boost single-size, if they know they can get more $ $ for them.
Just my opinion but I think that the breast prosthesis are developed specifically for this. They must be comfortable for most plan. They must also go, even if someone has a unilateral mastectomy. When amplifiers are uniform factory just cheaper silicon. still does not feel there is a huge difference in price, but I can understand some things.
The price should be covered by your insurance policy. Check it out. My wife is happy with his form of prosthesis, and if it is if I am late and that's what counts.
The bra that are used with forms are also covered by our insurance if she will not buy one for the duration of his life.

a hard white stuff that is not silicone foam but it is not. it has
rubber layer with a layer of silicone is soft like a real breast.

I worked in the insurance industry and health care for 20 years and, unfortunately, the answer is exactly as you think. breast implants prices are much higher because the insurance covers them, and everyone outside to make a profit no matter who they hurt, that's what they do.
It's a million questions to be addressed in the reform of health care. In the context of large things, and stuff that catches up the cost of health care affordable. I'm not saying that is the only question is who to blame, but again, it's a million things that Americans do not live in health care.
