Uniform Code Council

I want to get a barcode for my band released the CD but honestly, I do not want to go through the replicator generic barcode. I want to go through the Uniform Code Council (UCC) and I was wondering if anyone has done before and how much it costs.

Obtaining a barcode on any product is the same - and that starts with "possession" of a bank of numbers - that the bank numbers and cost of their own - what is the cost. Im putting a link in the source box for more specific tax information. I hope this helps! DHS
