Warm Socks

Warm SocksI have terrible traffic and I need warm socks?

What are the warmest socks you can get for hunting? I took the sport, however, my feet do not move! What are the warmest socks you recommend?

I am a long time hunter and trapper in Alaska. I got a black belt in cold feet! LOL. I was an EMT for many years advanced and fully understand your medical problem.

First - heavy thick socks are out. They cut what you have little traffic.

Second - invest in a pair of military boots Bunny '- known as othewise extreme military boots. They are Butt Ugly, come in black and white - but - they keep your feet warm, even standing in the snow-65E. I use them all the time. You can find them used for $ 40 the pair - check eBay. Be sure to wear a pair of thin nylon socks designed to remove sweat and moisture.

Last - bunny boots are fantastic - but - keep the heat is there. For people with poor circulation, it is very important to keep the warm boots, and your feet are already warm when you put them on. Do not put them on the right of the cold boot of the car!

There are a number of perscription and off the shelf drugs that will increase traffic. However, this will also increase blood flow to your extremities - you will very suceptable to hypothermia. If you take medication - you need to dress for the rest of you are very hot, especially good gloves and a hat very warm. If you have any doubts about how drugs effect you - starting with the small trips outside of 1 hour and work up.

Hope this helps

I wear thick wool socks, just a pair, you do not want to layer them and make your waterproof boots. I suffered from cold feet for years, even though I was wearing insulated boots ... Last year, I bought some cheap camo boots with Thinsulate, Wal-Mart. I'm on a budget and can not afford real expensive boots. And they are like $ 30 on sale ... I highly recommend them. They are the warmest boots I've ever had ...

They are survivors Herman with 600 grams of Thinsulate ... I think the fact that they are large and have room to keep a pocket of hot air around my feet is the main reason ... My feet are so hot, even sweat.

Well, I know nothing about hunting but I have too much traffic and horrible when I go snowboarding I wear like three pairs of thick ski socks, then I must also use these feet / hand warmer things that come in a little baggy and you shake em, and then they can turn really hot and you stick em in your gloves or boots or socks or something. These things are life savers to my poor toes.

If you have poor circulation of the worst thing you can do is to wear super thick socks or multiple pairs of thick socks.
Make sure nothing on your feet feel tight, and make sure the boots are well insulated.
Smartwool socks mountain of work for me.

they were hunting socks that have heaters in them .. ok, I do not mean a literal hot. but I think you can microwave a type of pad that comes with the socks and help you stay warm. see hunting they have a sock-type heated there just for hunting.

eating spicy food! Louissiana hot sauce is great on everything or just add cayenne pepper to avoid any deterioration in taste. Just add spices without adding flavor that will increase your cirrculation. but try to get the clutch warming they sell the island hunting at Walmart! They work ...

Ive seen these socks they have gloves like that too, but that's how you shake it then these chemicals to make a little hot as ice packs you shake and they get cold.
