Wicking SocksWhat is the best? acrylic or polyester for comfort socks wick moisture, and less blisters?

I came across this question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080728081015AAukvnA and I have not seen the answer I expect. The collapse replied wool smart choices that I've never heard before.

Another criterion is that socks are lighter and thinner. Thick socks make shoes feel tighter and smaller.

Polyester, definitely.
acrylic = ouch

cotton socks are more comfortable
