All the shops that I find really do not have sufficient clothing to wear to work. I just moved here from the United States, so I'm not familiar with what stores to go.

Yeah I know how it can be difficult to find good clothes in size these days. I'm from Melbourne so not too sure how close most of these stores are for you, but you can always check the location of stores on their sites ....

If you are tall, trousers will not be good for you. Dresses and skirts will be much more professional and pleasant and will not show anything.

There are some shops around. Try 16-26 (obviously it's their size range), or there's another one at Westfield Chermside, in front of the target and near pulp (shoe store) in this article that I I forgot the name. Both shops have professional clothing.
Do not look into the city - try the malls in the suburbs.
